Sesame Street Birthday A Party to Remember

A Sesame Street theme party for your young child, toddler, or babies first birthday is a fun popular kids theme, thus, there is a huge selection of party favors, party packs, and cakes available featuring the Sesame Street Gang.
Since Sesame Street parties are normally held for young children, and simple forms of entertainment work the best. One thing to consider is that when you play elimination games, where certain participants are ?out? it is important to provide alternate form of entertainment to keep the little ones out of the game entertained. Remember, for smaller children, games like ?pin the beak on Big Bird? or ?follow the leader? may seem overdone, but they actually like doing things that they are familiar with, so these games can be the perfect choices.
Another good choice is a game of ?Where?s Elmo? with adults telling players when they are ?hot? or ?cold? in their search for a hidden Elmo, or other Sesame Street character. A Sesame Street variation on the game of hot potato, are children in a circle, passing around an Elmo doll, and when the music ends, the child holding Elmo is ?out? and the last child remaining, wins a prize.
A good way to provide entertainment while the children are waiting for all the guests to arrive, and during the down times when the children who are ?out? are just popping in a Sesame Street movie, or printing Sesame Street coloring pages and letting the children color the pages (with washable markers.) To make sure everyone gets to be a winner, it is good to include a game like ?popping the balloon? in which a balloon is blown up with a small piece of paper inside on which a gift is written. When the child pops the balloon, they win the prize.
Good menu choices are peanut butter and jelly sandwiches cut into Sesame Street character shapes, birthday cake and ice cream, and don?t forget Elmo?s lemonade stand to round out your Sesame Street Party!
