When my father was in the army he had to understand the need to know. Now he has Diabetes and the need to know has helped him to understand The Reason Why and how to deal with it and what to expect .
Because he understands how it can affect his body he knows what he need to do for his health even if it mean a new way of life, for example weight control, and blood sugar levels.
Their is information we should know about Diabetes because it can happen to anyone , such as Insulin, Diabetes Awareness, DO I Have Diabetes or a Chronic Condition, what about Early Diabetes Warning signs, Exercise , and more.
People say what you do not know wont hurt you but that is not true if my father had understood the warning signs things might have been different.
When you know and understand what you are dealing with working with your doctor can help ease the fear factor.
When the doctor told my father about his condition their was fear because his family never told him they had it . He paid it no mind being a truck driver eating wrong foods not watching his weight and when he did it was to late.
Some times we can feel dumb asking a question but if we knew the answer why ask? What information I am lacking can hurt me but what I do know can help me.
