How to Put Music on to a PSP

How to put music on to a PSP: If you want to know how to put music on to a PSP, you probably need to follow the following steps. If you have a Sony make PSP unit, and you need to know how to put music on to a PSP from your window PC, you require a USB cable for joining your PSP to your window PC and you can get this cable within ten dollar from your neighborhood shop.
Once you have attached your PSP from the window PC, use left right directional or up down buttons to locate and find USB connection and press the home button on PSP. Once you press the X button that is round in shape and X is marked on the round shape button, you get communication from your PSP and if you have followed all the right steps the LCD display will show USB connection. You will simultaneously receive communication from your window PC that will detect the USB device and your PC will also show you a hard drive.
Now once your PC detects the new generic hard drive, click on the new drive letter and create a new folder on this new hard drive. You can name the folder as pspmusic or music and copy all the relevant mp3 files to this folder. Once you have completed the copying of mp3 files into the folder, press the O button on the PSP. Now disconnect the USB mode and you are ready with the music on your PSP.
You should take a note that the window media formats of .wma or .wmv should be converted into mp3 before putting these files to your PSP, as the operating system firmware of PSP does not support most of these old format files. Although, the manufacturer Sony provides an Image converter that is capable of converting all music with the use of very simple interface and manages the transfer.
Now you can use the left right arrows or up down arrows to find memory stick. You can choose the specific folder and you will find the music you put on to your PSP.
