There are many claims out there about paid surveys. There?s websites claiming you can earn $50 an hour, there?s pop-ups telling you how you can make a living from paid surveys, and there?s all sorts of hype and junk floating around the internet in regard to paid surveys that it?s hard to find out what?s real and what isn?t.
So today I?m going to debunk a few myths and misconceptions that hype-ridden advertising may have given you.
Paid survey myth number 1: ?You can make $50 an hour from paid surveys!? I won?t say this is impossible, because maybe for some people it is. But I can tell you from my experience, that you will probably not make $50 every hour.
If you?re very lucky you may get a survey with a $50 reward. This would be very rare, and would probably involve more than just filling forms. It may involve telephone interviews and focus groups as well.
Paid survey myth number 2: ?You can earn a full time living from paid surveys!? This is partly possible if you were very dedicated, and worked at it for a long time. But it?s very rare. You are much better off by looking at paid surveys as a side-income, and supplementing it with a job, or a different online venture.
To be realistic about paid surveys, it?s a great way to earn a little extra cash, enough to take your family out for a nice meal, or buy that little something you?ve always wanted ? but it?s not like a career.
With all these said, you may feel a little demoralised if you?ve believed the hypey claims. But even still, paid surveys are a great way to earn a little extra cash from the comforts of your own home.
