Hasselhoff Pays Homage

In this collection of 19 cuts on David Hasselhoff Sings America, David Hasselhoff has paid tribute to some of America?s greatest musical artists. From ?City of New Orleans? to ?Amazing Grace? to ?Country Roads? to ?Rhinestone Cowboy?, Hasselhoff pays homage to many legendary artists.
And he does it very well. Instead of trying to directly emulate the style in which the original artist performed the song, Hasselhoff adds his own personality to each cut, making the familiar original. Being an avid Elvis Presley fan, I was interested to see how David was going to cover ?Love Me Tender?. In my opinion, it takes real courage to record a song that the King has made famous but Mr. Hasselhoff did a beautiful job. I am impressed.
Ever since I was a young child, I have loved the song ?Country Roads? and I was delighted with Hasselhoff?s rendition of this classic. I am certain that the late John Denver would be too. After all, imitation is the best form of flattery.
David Hasselhoff Sings America is a CD worth adding to any music lover?s collection. It is a pleasure to hear the old favorites redone with a new twist. This CD is available on Amazon so it shouldn?t be too hard to find.
