Attention
Some of us require more
attention than others.
How stupid of us.
In our minds we think we have something to say
Gosh! tell me a lie.
The truth is too painful
Summer
Something to look forward to,
warm weather and getting time off.
But soon the warmth becomes bitter and classes start again.
And suddenly the realization hits
that it is a long time before summer comes again.
Happiness
Happiness is knowing
without saying a word.
Feeling with or without touching.
Happiness is having something to look forward to,
or something to remember.
Happiness is all of these
but most of all it is a state of mind
that each person has to determine for themselves.
Truth
The truth is hard.
The truth is fair.
The truth is sometimes,
difficult to share.
It will tear you up,
yet make you whole,
while putting you
out of control.
So trust what is real
and hold on tight,
till all have the opportunity,
to see the light.
Your child, my child
or perfect stranger,
we worry about them
as if they were in danger.
We lift them up
and give them to Him
only to take them back
time and again.
Faith will bring us
to that perfect place,
if we only have love
He will share His grace.
Time
Another year,
another day, another moment gone by.
Would I change it?
Would I stop it? Or
should I even try?
Time is precious.
Life is fragile.
It leaves you asking why.
Why are we blessed with such joy and love?
Why do we continue to push and shove?
Why do we face the good and the bad?
Why do we ever, have to be sad?
Another year,
another day.
another moment gone by.
I would not change it,
can not stop it,
wouldn't even try.
Yes time is precious, but it's not ours.
Life is fragile, but we are tough.
No need to question why.
All we have to do is share our love,
Never give up and always try.
