To succeed in the pressure washing business you need to have a good account base and steady clientele. You need to be careful not to have too many accounts, which are mostly seasonal. The key is to have diversified accounts and plenty of night work cleaning concrete or flat work. One of the best accounts we have found for many reasons in Convenience Stores or C-Stores, as they are generally open 24-hours with lighting so you can work safely without being mugged and you can also be seen and pick up accounts from other property management companies, truck fleet owners and commercial building owners that see you out working.

Recently I received this email from one of our franchisees who picked up some 7-11 stores as an account in his region:

?We have just secured the concrete business for our local 7-11s. We book out at 65.00 an hour and we have 51 on them. Most will have weekly service, and bi monthly. It took us 2 months of red tape to get the account.?

Although it may take a while to secure a chain of C-stores, gas stations or 7-11 type outlets to clean, they are great accounts to have and nice because they allow you the leverage to balance your schedule, as they are small and quick accounts to service. Think on this in 2006.
