Falling Off the Weight Wagon

I was all pumped up to shred some pounds so I went to a health food store, stocked up on meal replacement shakes, vitamins and snack bars loaded my garage with bottled water and began my journey to thinness.
My effort was serious enough to warrant putting pictures of my fat self on the fridge and even storing a digital image on my cell phone so I would see my waistline with every call!
Three weeks into my self imposed program I was carrying my water bottle everywhere, rolling along with a new energy and renewed self confidence - actually feeling good.
Then it happened, a personal crisis, stress and a three day business trip out of range of my healthy eating habits. Nothing helped I felt like a climber slipping down his rope on his way to the mountain top. The snacking started and followed by those Carb raids late in the night!
Losing weight is real hard especially when you?re a senior ? getting back into the regimen is harder than starting a weight loss program.
