How to Exercise to Firm Breasts
By: Brad McCleary
My wife came to about a month and a half ago and asked me a question that nearly knocked me out of my seat. She said, "I want to start working with my chest!" After seeing my eyes swell up see refine her comment to "I want to exercise to firm my breast." Still shocked, at least I understood where she was coming from now. So much to my humor and excitement I devised a workout plan on how to exercise to firm breasts.
There are some important things to consider when firming your chest. First of all, your breasts are for the most part fat, so in order to lift and firm you actually have to build up the muscle underneath. So, you need to decide exactly where you want to go with them.
The purpose of firming a muscle is generally to remove fat. By overworking your chest with resistance training you could greatly reduce your breast size. (Something I personally was not interested in my wife doing) So together we agreed on what we were looking for. We were going to try to lift and firm without losing too much of the cup size.
Like I said before, the way to start seeing firmness in the chest area is to build up the muscle underneath. Start by adding a few more chest specific exercises to your current workout routine.
I had my wife do variations of pushups; on bars, inclined, and even worked our way to decline pushup, (greatly helped lift her chest). I also had her do dumbell flys on the stability ball, and even bench press.
I was eager to see her improvement on the four week program we worked up to determine whether or not this type of program created the desired result. It did.
Obviously, strength training is key when it comes to firming muscle, whether it be in your chest or other areas of your body. The good news is that it doesn?t have to be done in a gym; it can be done at home. There are many different magazines and books that offer ways to do resistance training at home. You can use resistance bands or purchase weights from a local sports equipment store.
If you are unsure of what to do, there are a lot of great fitness books out there that will guide you through exercises and diet. Another alternative would be to purchase personal training sessions (this can be costly however).
My wife was so pleased with her results that she convinced me to share this knowledge. I have been implementing programs like this with my clients, I am a personal trainer, and they have seen great results as well!
